The Hertz Mille Legend MLK 165.3 is a 6.5-inch component system for the vehicle front, delivering precise mids, clean highs, and controlled dynamics. The set combines the ML 28.3 Legend tweeter, the ML 165.3 Legend woofer, and the MLCX 165.3 crossover to form a cohesive 2-way system for demanding car hi-fi setups.
Technical Highlights
The woofer features a Boundary-Free surround for increased effective cone area and controlled excursion. The V-Cone made of cotton-fiber-reinforced pressed paper ensures good dispersion and a natural sound. A six-spoke aluminum basket mechanically stabilizes the unit. The driver uses a high-density ferrite magnet, optimized for linear behavior in the mid-range. The passive 2-way crossover MLCX 165.3 crosses over at 3.5 kHz with 12 dB/Oct and cleanly connects the woofer and tweeter. With 150 W RMS (300 W Peak) at 4 ohms and a wide frequency response of 40 Hz to 25 kHz, the set is suitable for powerful amplifiers as well as high-quality OEM upgrades.
