Audison Thesis TH K2 II A CORO - 6.5-inch 2-Way Front System with Adjustable Crossover
The Audison Thesis TH K2 II A CORO is a 6.5-inch 2-way front system designed for maximum precision and clean dynamics in a vehicle. The drivers were developed using finite element simulations; the included crossover allows you to adjust the crossover frequency to suit your vehicle and listening preferences. The set combines the TH 1.5 II Violino tweeter with the TH 6.5 II Sax woofer/midrange driver â rated at 150 W RMS (300 W peak) at 4 ohms. Available at Carhifi.shop.

Component Features
TH 1.5 II Violino (Tweeter)
- Single-layer 34 mm CCAW voice coil for low weight, stable reproduction at low crossover frequencies and without transient compression.
- Powerful Custom N38 âHâgradeâ neodymium magnet (1.67 T*m in the gap) for high dynamics and low distortion.
- Air-loading system with resonant frequency below 800 Hz; filtering from 1.5 kHz with 12 dB/Oct. possible.
- 38 mm natural silk dome, optimized via material analysis, laser vibrometer scanning and FEM for linear, extended dispersion.
- Frequency response up to 26 kHz, designed for off-axis mounting positions.
- Tuning system with two loading types: Bottom Case or Bottom Disk â for performance goals or integration flexibility.
- All-metal construction, all parts manufactured exclusively for the TH 1.5 II.
- FEM-optimized faceplate and front spokes for improved dispersion.
TH 6.5 II Sax (Woofer/Midrange)
- 50 mm CCAR (Copper Clad Aluminum Ribbon) voice coil, flat-wound to maximize force factor and heat dissipation.
- Low voice coil inductance for clean behavior in the 2â3 kHz band.
- N48 âHâgradeâ neodymium magnet with high thermal stability for constant dynamic reserve.
- FEM-optimized magnet geometry for field concentration in the gap and high efficiency.
- TPXÂź cone reduces irregularities in the mid-high range and makes the driver's construction visible.
- Cone geometry designed via simulation for uniform dispersion at all listening angles.
- One-piece aluminum die-cast basket with four pairs of spokes for effective heat conduction, low turbulence and high rigidity.
- HiâExcursion suspension and spider, optimized multiphysically.
Installation & Compatibility
The system fits common 165 mm mounting slots and is suitable for door or A-pillar installations. With 4 ohms and 150 W RMS, it harmonizes with high-quality power amplifiers; the adjustable crossover facilitates adaptation to vehicle acoustics and listening position.
