The Audison Prima APBX 8 R is a compact 8-inch enclosed subwoofer that delivers powerful, controlled bass in a slim form factor. The ported enclosure is optimized for efficiency and deliberately utilizes the natural cabin gain below 60 Hz. With 500 W peak power, 250 W RMS, and a 4-ohm voice coil, the sub can be cleanly connected to common car hi-fi amplifiers. When combined with bridged channels of an AP4.9 bit or AP4 D, approximately 260 W RMS are available; the AP8.9 bit also fits perfectly. The slot-port, 2S² mounting option (down-/up-firing) and the SSP terminal facilitate integration in the trunk and ensure practical installation.
