The Hertz SPL Show SV 200.1 is an 8-inch mid-woofer built for high sound pressure levels and demanding SPL applications. With a copper voice coil on a 2-layer KSV former, a water-repellent pressed paper cone, and a robust paper dust cap, it reliably withstands both mechanical and thermal stress. The high-density ferrite magnet, together with the lightweight cone, ensures high efficiency and stable performance up to the upper mid-range.

Installation & Compatibility

The SV 200.1 thrives in door panels and doorboards and functions as a powerful mid-woofer in SPL setups. Actively cross it over downwards from approximately 100 Hz and combine it with a tweeter or horn from about 2–3 kHz, depending on your setup. A clean amplifier with around 200 W RMS at 4 Ohms per channel is a good match; short-term peaks up to 500 W are possible. For true deep bass, add a subwoofer. Available at Carhifi.shop.
