Hertz Mille Legend ML 280.3 â 28mm Dome Tweeter for Precise High Frequencies
The Hertz Mille Legend ML 280.3 is a dome tweeter designed for maximum control and low distortion. The advanced Tetolon dome and optimized rear acoustic chamber ensure a linear frequency response, clean decay, and improved response down to the lower high-frequency range. With 4 ohms, high sensitivity, and a low resonance point (Fs 900 Hz), the tweeter can be flexibly integrated into 2-way and 3-way front systems â passively or actively with DSP.
Technical Highlights
- Neodymium magnet with FEA-optimized magnetic flux for high control and fast transients
- Pure copper shorting ring to extend the high-frequency range
- Die-cast aluminum faceplate with FEA-optimized profile for clean frequency response and uniform dispersion
- Tetolon dome (FEA-optimized) for distortion reduction and improved off-axis response
- Frame and rear loading chamber made of CNC-machined solid aluminum to minimize mechanical resonances
- Low Fs of 900 Hz allows for low crossover frequencies with minimal distortion in the crossover region
- Combination of high-damping material under the dome and absorbent material in the back chamber for calm, controlled sound
